Edward Dowling
ED&A's President, Edward T. Dowling, has been a marketing professional for thirty five years. After earning his Bachelors degree at CUNY Ed spent six years as a research consultant for the NYC Office of Economic Development and Institute for Public Administration (IPA). During his tenure at the institute he became Director of Technical Services for the Trade Adjustment Assistance Program. Ed entered the private sector as Executive Vice President of Toft Dickman Associates, an advertising research company. Prior to forming ED&A in 1983 Ed was president of two New York City research companies - Delphi Marketing Inc., and Turner Dowling Inc.

As President and Founder of ED&A and Delphi Marketing Ed has conducted broad market research studies for US Department of Commerce, NYC Office of Economic Development, National Handbag Association, Luggage and Leather Goods Association, Slide Fastener Association, NY Trade Adjustment Assistance Center and the Global Export Marketing Service of NY State. He has conducted research projects in industries that include Dental, Medical, Pharmaceutical, Consumer Packaged Goods, Publishing and Apparel.

Ed has been a guest lecturer at for The New School, State University of New York, Fashion Institute of Technology, Parsons School of Design and City University of New York.

 

Roger Buldain, Ph.D.
Roger is ED&A’s Marketing Science Director and heads our quantitative research division. Roger is also a principal with Orthogonal Designs, Inc.  With over 25 years of experience in both the client and supplier sides of marketing research, he has had the opportunity to share his experience by:
 

Teaching seminars and presenting papers on multivariate statistical techniques and experimental design for the Burke Institute, the University of Cincinnati and Xavier University

Teaching seminars on conjoint analysis for the American Marketing Association

Presenting image, positioning, and conjoint research for the Pharmaceutical Marketing Research Group

Presenting papers on perceptual mapping for Sawtooth Conference and

Presenting papers on choice modeling for the Advanced Research Techniques Forum of the American Marketing Association

After receiving his doctorate from Michigan State University in Experimental Social Psychology, Roger began building his marketing research experience.  His career has included working in the Marketing Research Department of the Quaker Oats Company, and in the Consulting & Analytical Services Division with Burke Marketing Research.  While at Burke, he was promoted to Vice President, R&D for new research products and protocols and worked as an Account Executive with the Client Services Division.  

Roger has headed ED&A’s quantitative research division for four years.

 

Jane Levey
Jane has been the Field Director at ED&A for twenty years. In addition to field supervision Jane directs ED&A’s in-house staff of telephone interviewers. She is also an accomplished executive interviewer with extensive experience in the medical, pharmaceutical and dental industries. Jane graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
